According to Sky News:

The new graffiti shows a little boy kneeling at a sewing machine while he makes the bunting that will be used for the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations.

The small boy is barefoot, with a sports visor turned backwards on his head and his little fingers are threading the bunting through the sewing machine.

It has been suggested that the street art, drawn on Wood Green High Road in North London, is intended to highlight the disparity between the wealth and opulence of the West and the poverty – and the age – of those who are used to make the goods we buy.

I hate real estate agents with every part of my soul.

Always on the lookout for badass workspace, I found an empty office on Jan Smuts in a great location, that has one of those boards on the window, detailing the offender’s agent’s info.

I called her on Monday, left a voicemail. No answer. Followed up on Tuesday. Nah, nothing. Finally got hold of her today and explained that I’m quite flexible on space so don’t have any specifics at the moment, just want to see the space I have my eye on and if it’s not right, we can get into the nitty gritty and find something more appropriate. I did not tell her that I or ‘my girlfriend was a blogger’ for a better deal

She just seems so disinterested and I find it’s a common theme with all agents I have dealt with – they are either not bovvered or incompetent. Surely when you have a person interested in doing business with you, you suss them out more, see if they have cash and only then blow them off.
