This coming to you live from the cray-cray town of Keetmanshoop in Namibia. About 36 hours ago, 240 intrepid travellers departed from Jo’burg and Cape Town simultaneously to rally around six Southern African countries over 17 days, to have the journey of a lifetime, deliver school shoes to children in Zambia and to use social media channels to raise awareness for the event and raise additional funds for South African children and Project Rhino KZN.
Last year, R100K was raised by day 16 of the rally. By day one of Put Foot Rally 2012 – R350K. You too can donate by visiting this link. We hope to have daily updates for you of the adventure but in the meantime here are our favourite vehicles from the JHB startline.
You can follow the action on Twitter using the hashtag #putfootrally
Peace, you sexy African beast!
