Retroviral is my baby. It was launched in 2010 as a digital communications agency comprising individuals who understand both strategies imperative to support brand business objectives, and the tech required to make the web work for these clients.
Far too many individuals were (and still are) using social media – and internet communications as a whole – as a jargon-filled magic trick to fleece onlooking clients.
Communication is retro; it hasn’t changed. There are just more channels for conversations to occur.
We subscribe to the 3R’s – remarkable content, seeded to the right people, leads to the contagious word of mouth results that a brand requires to stand out from the crowd in the various, noisy digital environments. This is our interpretation of viral.
We don’t force advertising down people’s throats. We create and tell remarkable brand stories. This is ours:

2012 was our best year to date. We worked with more incredible brands, who in turn helped to change some lives – even for a few hours. We made an impact on sales, and we had our name forever etched into a Bronze Cannes Lion, thanks to the creative genius of Black River FC and their Nando’s Last Dictator Standing campaign.
Friends, family, and clients – sometimes these are one and the same – the Retroviral team is eternally indebted to you for the support you provide. You allow this agency to live its dream.
